CANCELLATION POLICY  

 

Eat Talk Play understands there are many complexities in peoples lives and the need to cancel appointments arises from time to time. While we understand, Eat Talk Play clinicians prepare and allocate appointment times for each client individually.


Where reasonable notice (2 full business days or longer) is provided, there will be no fee incurred and the service may be rescheduled.


All appointments that are cancelled on the day and all no shows will be charged at 100% of the scheduled session fee.


Eat Talk Play has the right to cease or refuse to provide services where fees are outstanding.


RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION POLICY  

 

EAT TALK PLAY cares deeply about the safety of it’s staff and clients. This Policy sets out EAT TALK PLAY’s expectations regarding communication. It explains how the EAT TALK PLAY will respond to unreasonable customer communication, including those who are abusive or aggressive, or who make unreasonable demands that divert the EAT TALK PLAY’s time and resources away from its functions.

 

EAT TALK PLAY aims to treat all its client/customers with courtesy, consideration and respect, to act impartially, with integrity and honesty, and to be sensitive to the diversity of the community. In turn, the EAT TALK PLAY expects customers to adhere to the same standards when dealing with the EAT TALK PLAY.

 

Abusive or aggressive communication will not be tolerated.


Abusive or aggressive communication may include:

                    verbal abuse, aggressive or abusive communication

                    verbal discrimination of a personal nature, or against a particular subset of society

                    rude or otherwise vulgar expressions, noises, or gestures

                    threatening or offensive communication, or

                    threats of physical violence against a person or property

                    defamatory posts or communications on social media

 

If, in the opinion of any staff member, abusive or aggressive comments or statements are made, the staff member:

·         will terminate the conversation

·         notify their management and take the appropriate course of action

 

EAT TALK PLAY reserve the right to cease services immediately with any client displaying the above behaviours.
